callAssistX for Windows

Windows 10 version 2004 or later. An NVIDIA GPU is optional: it makes local transcription fast; without one the app uses a smaller CPU model or offers cloud speech to text through your key.

  1. 1. Run install.ps1

Unzip the download and run powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File install.ps1. It installs for your user only; no administrator rights needed.

  2. 2. Start callAssistX

Open it from the Start menu. The setup wizard signs you in with Google, downloads the speech model, lets you pick your audio devices and shows the recording notice.

  3. 3. Add an AI key

Add at least one provider key on this website under Account › AI keys. Keys are tested there and the models each key can use are listed.

Program files go to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\callAssistX; your settings, projects, meetings and notes index live in %LOCALAPPDATA%\callAssistX and survive updates.

install.ps1 -Uninstall removes the app and keeps your data; add -RemoveData to delete it too.
